My painting at the London Art Biennale

With the utmost joy and honor, I am happy to share that my painting “Green chair with a view” has been chosen by a jury for the London Art Biennale 2021!!! The results of the finalists have been posted and I’m super happy to be among such amazing talents!

Curated by international museum and gallery professionals, the Biennale takes place at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, one of the grandest buildings in Chelsea. The exhibition will be inaugurated on 30 June, and will open to the public from 1 July to 4 July. This means lots of art in the middle of summer in one of the greatest cities in the world – I can’t imagine a better time!

The painting – “Green chair with a view” – was created on 31 January this year. The inspiration for this painting came from the views around Lake Como. The vastness of thought it offers gave me an unlimited playfield. It is done with oil on canvas. I will be happy to see everyone visit the Biennale and find my painting and let me know what you think of it (in the comments below or email, or better – I hope to be there myself too, so I’ll be happy to have a chat!).
