In 2016 I had the honor to meet a Latvian-American painter Janis Delgalvis who shared about his studies at the Arts Student League of New York in 70’ties. His stories were so inspiring and encouraging, course of coincidences led me to Arts Student League of New York in January 2017 for Anatomy and Drawing course with Peter Cox. This was also my first trip to NYC, making it even more magical – from the very first day my time in Manhattan started with a 6am jog at the Central Park, then quick breakfast and 9-5 studies at the League with sightseeing in the evenings. Felt like a real New Yorker with a routine:)
